Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne had to wake suddenly from an afternoon nap after India pacer Mohammed Siraj dismissed opener David Warner on Day 3 of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final at The Oval.
During the fourth over of Australia’s second innings, Siraj bowled a perfect length delivery and Warner got a thick edge which carried through to KS Bharat behind the stumps.
While Warner was making his way back for 1, cameras caught Labuschagne taking a nap. He had his feet up and eyes closed in the dressing room, seemingly trying to catch a nap.
However, Labuschagne got up quickly on hearing noise from the crowd. He eventually walked in to bat at No. 3 for Australia.
