Pakistani wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan was seen engaging in some bromance with Australia batter Marnus Labuschagne during the ongoing first Test match between the two sides in Rawalpindi.
He was lauded by the fraternity for upholding the spirit of cricket after Marnus Labuschagne was hit on the arm while facing Pakistan spinner
Labuschagne was hoping to sweep the ball towards the leg side but the vicious delivery ended up hitting him in his right arm. Coming to the aid of Australian batter, wicketkeeper Rizwan turned physio in no time as the star cricketer gave Labuschagne's arm a gentle rub.
"Rizwan is more than happy to help," the official Twitter handle of Pakistan Cricket captioned its post while sharing the video of the incident.
Batting first in the series opener against the visitors, Babar's Pakistan managed to set up a massive total of 476-4 d in 162 overs. Opener Imam-ul-Haq smashed a sublime ton while Azhar Ali top-scored for Pakistan by playing a gritty knock of 185 in Pakistan's first essay. Rizwan completed his 1,000 Test runs during his knock of 29*.
Meanwhile, earlier before the start of day two’s play, Rizwan and Labuschagne were seen engaging in some shenanigans as they were mocking how the Aussie batter leaves the ball.
