After losing three matches in a row, England drew the fourth Ashes 2021-22 Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Sunday (January 9). Australia couldn't take the last wicket of England on the final day of the Test.

Chasing an improbable target of 388 to win, England started Day 5 with 30/0 and they lost half of the side on 193 runs. Soon, the score read 237/8 after losing Jonny Bairstow in 92nd over of their innings.

With more than 10 overs of play left, Australia had a good chance of bowling England out by picking the last two wickets. Stuart Broad and Jack Leach managed to survive 69 balls between them.

Leach was dismissed by Steve Smith in the 100th over and James Anderson walked in to bat with Broad to save the Test match. Broad played out Nathan Lyon's over but couldn't take a single off the final delivery.

It meant Anderson had to face Smith in the last over of the match and the whole English camp was tense. Ben Stokes' priceless reactions after every delivery was captured by the cameraman.

At one point, Stokes put his head inside the t-shirt as if he couldn't take it anymore. But Anderson did a fine job of not making any mistake and saved the Test match.
