England left-arm spinner Jack Leach might have returned wicketless, but he managed to grab the limelight for his great spirit when he signed a fan's bald head on the opening day of the fourth Test of the Ashes 2021-22 against Australia at the Sidney Cricket Ground (SCG).

It was a rain-affected day one at the SCG with Australia and England sharing the honors as the hosts finished with a score of 126/3 in 46.5 overs in the ongoing fourth Ashes Test. For England, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, and Mark Wood each snared one wicket on Wednesday, January 5.

Coming to Leach, who conceded only 3 runs in his 2 overs on the opening day of the fourth Test against Australia, the spinner showed great spirit after a bald fan near the boundary ropes asked him to autograph his scalp, and the Englishman made the day of the fan in Sydney.

Speaking about the match, Australia elected to bat first after winning the toss against England at the SCG, with openers David Warner and Marcus Harris stitching together a 50-run partnership before they were dismissed for 30 and 38 by Broad and Anderson, respectively.

Australia then lost Marnus Labuschagne (28) after he put up 60 runs for the second wicket with Harris before being dismissed by Mark Wook on Wednesday. Steve Smith (6) and Usman Khawaja (4) will resume on day two, while Leach will continue his hunt for the wickets at the SCG.
