Bangladesh are currently ahead in the first Test match against New Zealand after taking a 130-run lead in the first innings. They piled up 458 runs in reply of New Zealand's first innings score of 328.
But it's their bowling performance in the second innings that has brought them close to a win in the opening Test. Bangladesh picked up five wickets of the hosts at a score of 147 runs before the stumps on Day 4.
The desperation to register their first Test win in New Zealand was seen when Bangladesh ended up taking a horrendous review against Ross Taylor on the fourth day. It was the 37th over of New Zealand's innings, when Taskin Ahmed and other Bangladesh fielders appealed for an LBW.
The umpire ruled it not out, but the Bangladesh team was not convinced and captain Mominul Haque went for a DRS. The replays showed Bangladesh got it wrong as the ball was hitting the middle of the bat.
The on-air commentators couldn't control their laughter in the commentary box.
