England all-rounder Ben Stokes succeeded in breaking his teammate Mark Wood's concentration during an interview on Day 2 of the Boxing Day Test against Australia. Wood was interacting with the on-air commentators during drinks break when Stokes tried to distract him on the field.
Stokes started throwing water at his buddy who was answering the question from commentators very seriously. Wood wasn't paying attention to the all-rounder when he initially tried to disturb his interview a few times.
But when Stokes came close and threw more water on him, Wood couldn't continue with the interview and had to tell his teammate to stop. "Pack it in, man," he said and the commentators started laughing.
"Ben Stokes finally broke Mark Wood's concentration! ???????? #Ashes," wrote the digital account of Cricket Australia while sharing the clip.
England are currently struggling in the third Test, having already lost the first two matches. The visitors have lost four wickets on 31 runs at the end of Day 2 and they are still trailing by 51 runs.
Australia were all out for 267, taking an 82-run lead on England's first-innings score of 185. Marcus Harris was the top-scorer for the Aussies with 76 runs, and for England, it was experienced pacer Jimmy Anderson, who bagged 4 wickets for 33 runs off 23 overs.
