England wicket-keeper Jos Buttler has had a bitter-sweet time in the second Ashes Test behind the stumps. Buttler, who dropped Marnus Labuschagne twice in the first innings, succeeded in taking two remarkable catches in Australia's second innings.
Buttler had started the second Test with a stunner to dismiss Marcus Harris; setting a high standard for himself. He once again took an outstanding catch in the second innings of the day-night Test match to get rid of Harris.
Stuart Broad managed to find an outside edge of the Aussie opener with a delivery seaming away from Harris. Later, Buttler dived full length to his left to take complete the dismissal.
The 31-year-old displayed his fantastic wicketkeeping skills again when Ollie Robinson took down Australia's stand-in captain Steve Smith on Day 4. Smith tried to guide a delivery on his ribs to the leg side but ended up giving a catch to Buttler.
Earlier in the first innings, Buttler gave Labuschagne two chances before he reached his hundred. First, he was dropped on 21, and then again on 95 before the end of Day 2's play.
