West Indies recently registered a fantastic 1-wicket win in the first Test match against touring Pakistan side and went 1-0 up in this two-match series. After the first Test, both teams locked horns in the second Test match at the Sabina Park in Kingston.
The tourists ended the Day 1 of the ongoing match at 212/4 after successfully recovering from the three early blows. The hosts who were looking to regain control in this Test match, unfortunately had to wait in the dressing room as Day 2 was completely washed out without a ball being bowled.
The Kraigg Brathwaite and Co. who had to wait patiently in the dressing room were still high in spirits and in a video shared by Cricket West Indies, the group was seen playing cricket among themselves inside the dressing room itself.
In the video, left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican is seen facing a delivery from pacer Chemar Holder. As Warrician left the ball, it struck him on his knee and everyone started celebrating his dismissal. The leggie who was not convinced he was out, decided to go upstairs and made a mock DRS review.
Batsman Shamarh Brooks took up the on-field umpiring duties and hilariously decided to it upon himself to replay the line and length of the ball. He did it twice just to be sure. Former skipper Jason Holder, who was the third umpire, showed his decision on the ‘big screen’ giving his verdict: Warrican is out!
