New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was seen posing with the ICC Test Championship mace after crushing Team India in the WTC 2021 final, at the Hambledon Cricket Club in Hambledon village.
New Zealand on the back of all-round performance thumped Virat Kohli-led side by eight wickets at Ageas Bowl, Southampton to be crowned as the first World Test Champions.
Following their victory, Kane Williamson went to ‘Cradle of Cricket’, The Hambledon Cricket Club with the ICC Test mace.

Hambledon Cricket Club, based in rural Hampshire, is one of the oldest cricket clubs in England and was formed in 1765 and was the foremost cricket club in England before Lord's became the home of cricket with the establishment of the Marylebone Cricket Club in 1787.
Taking to their official Twitter account, the International Cricket Council (ICC) posted pictures of the New Zealand skipper with the trophy at the venue.
