The excitement is building up for the final of ICC World Test Championship, which is set to be played between India and New Zealand at Rose Bowl, Southampton between 18th and 22nd June, with 23rd, is a reserve day.

International Cricket Council (ICC) took to their official Instagram account and posted a video of Indian skipper Virat Kohli practicing his drives ahead of the ICC World Test Championship final.

The Virat Kohli-led-side arrived in England on June 3 and are currently out of isolation, playing intra-squad in Southampton to prepare themselves for the much-awaited WTC 2021 Final.

With less than one week remaining for the much-awaited clash, the Team India skipper will have a huge task in hand as he will be aiming to win his first ICC trophy as national team captain.

With Team India starting their preparations for the WTC final, ICC posted a video on their official Instagram, which showed Indian skipper Virat Kohli practicing.

In the video Virat Kohli can be seen playing drives on both sides of the extra-cover position, wearing a kit specially made for the much-anticipated clash.

During India’s last tour to England in 2018, the Indian skipper had a fantastic outing with the bat and replied to all the critics in style amassing 593 runs from 10 innings at an average of 59.30.

Team India would be hoping that their skipper Virat Kohli to replicate his form from the last England tour if they have to fancy their chances of winning the WTC final and five-Test series against England.

"@virat.kohli fine-tuning the drives ahead of #WTC21 Final,” ICC captioned the video.
