Punjab Kings’ (PBKS) batting coach Wasim Jaffer was at his comical best once again. The former batsman’s latest Tweet is on his preferred umpire for the ICC World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand.
Team India is set to play ICC World Test Championship against New Zealand between 18-22th June at Rose Bowl in Southampton.
Taking to his Twitter handle Wasim Jaffer shared a witty meme and indicated that he’ll prefer Kumar Dharmasena over Richard Kettleborough for umpiring duties in the WTC final.
Wasim Jaffer uses Virat Kohli's gif to name Ben Stokes for a transfer to Team India
To the reference, it is learned that whenever Kettleborough was the umpire in many of India’s knockout matches, including the most recent one, the ICC World Cup 2019 semifinal against New Zealand, India haven't done well and have lost whenever Englishmen was on the feld.
On the other hand, Dharmasena’s error in the World Cup final between New Zealand and England led to Kiwis missing out on their maiden title.
Team India are currently in Mumbai for their two-week hard quarantine ahead of their tour to England and will be leaving for the UK from Mumbai on June 2, and then undergo a three-day hard quarantine before practising inside their bubbles.
While New Zealand will play two-match Test series against England before the WTC final.
