England all-rounder Ben Stokes, coming in to bat number 5, scored the highest runs for his team in the first innings of the second Test against West Indies. When he joined opener, Dom Sibley, England were 3 down on 81 as skipper Joe Root departed for just 23 runs.
Later, Stokes and Sibley put up a partnership of 260 runs to completely change the scenario of the game. While Stokes scored 176, Sibley was dismissed on 120.

Stokes smashed 17 fours and two sixes, most of which came in the later part of his innings in acceleration, and the one which made fans appreciate the most came in 115th over of the innings.
Facing Alzarri Joseph, he lofted him for a six over long-on. He came forward and put it into the stands with just a push off the bat, without much effort. As extraordinary as it looked, fans couldn't stop praising the shot on social media. It was beautiful!
