With India having finally accepted and embraced the D/N Test cricket against Bangladesh in Kolkata, there is already excitement over when and where can we see the Men in Blue next play the pink-ball version.
The Kohli & company next travel to New Zealand in March for a two-match series, part of the inaugural World Test Championship.
And as per new BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, the possibility of a D/N Test against the Kiwis isn't being ruled out.
"Nothing is decided yet. We still have time for the New Zealand series. Let's see," Ganguly told IANS.
It'll anyway be a great challenge for Kohli & co to take on the Black Caps. However, if there is one team in the world that can topple them off in their shores it is this Indian team, filled with capable batsmen and a quality bowling attack.
"I will not compare this bowling attack with the ones in the past, but this is a very good attack. New Zealand are a good team. At home, in their own conditions, it will be challenging but I am hopeful Virat and the boys will do well there as well," Ganguly said.
India is not only the No.1 ranked Test side but also at the top of the Test championship points table.
The first Test in New Zealand begins on February 21 in Wellington followed by the next game in Christchurch from February 29 onwards.
