Indian opener Mayank Agarwal ended his press conference with a hilarious question to the journalists. Agarwal played innings of his life against South Africa in the first Test. He converted his first Test ton to a double hundred and also stitched a 317-run partnership with Rohit Sharma for the first wicket.
Mayank scored 215 runs, and his partner Rohit, who was first to fall, added 176 runs in his first innings as a Test opener. The man of the moment, Agarwal, went for the presser, answered all the questions, and while walking off, he asked journalists if that was enough spice for them?
"I hope that's enough masala," Mayank said with a smile, and everyone in the room burst into laughter.
India is currently ahead in the game with South Africa five down on 229 runs in 70 overs. For the visitors, Dean Elgar scored a hundred, and skipper Faf du Plessis added a half-century. The other looked pretty much ordinary against the Indian spinners. R Ashwin picked up three wickets out of five. Ravindra Jadeja and Ishant Sharma shared one wicket each.
