Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues | BCCIIndia women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur was lost for words after the team defeated England in the one-off Test match in Navi Mumbai. India registered the highest win ever by runs in Women’s Tests by 347 runs.

The Indian skipper played her first Test match at home since the match against South Africa way back in 2014 in Mysore. The 34-year-old Harmanpreet, who has played four Tests thus far in her career, was delighted with India’s performance in the game.

To be honest, I am blank right now. I am not able to get my words together and explain how I am feeling. It’s a very emotional feeling for me because I was playing a Test match after a long time. The match turned out to be one-sided. It’s great,” Harmanpreet said in an interview with Jemimah Rodrigues, uploaded on BCCI’s official website.

Harmanpreet also lauded the national team for their hard work on the pitch. She believes that by remaining energetic on the pitch, India may alter the outcome of many matches.
