The third and final ODI of the three-match series between India and England women’s cricket team was played at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London on Saturday. India managed to win the game by 16 runs in a tightly fought encounter to sweep the series 3-0.

The match came to end in a surprising way after India spinner Deepti Sharma ran out Charlie Dean for 47. Dean was backing up too far at the non-striker's end and Deepti ran her out before delivering the ball.

Earlier this month, the ICC announced certain changes to the playing conditions. Regarding "running out of the non-striker", the ICC stated: "The Playing Conditions follow the Laws in moving this method of effecting a Run out from the 'Unfair Play' section to the 'Run out' section."

Still, Deepti's tactics created quite a furor among both the audience and experts, from veteran pacer James Anderson to former England skipper Nasser Hussain, a host of cricketers have questioned India's style of winning the third and final ODI of the bilateral series.

Reacting to the protest, legendary cricketer Virender Sehwag has hilariously trolled England cricketers on social media. He wrote "Funny to see so many English guys being poor losers. #Runout,"

Sehwag posted a couple of pictures. The first one had the English national flag and it read, “Invent a Game, Forget Its Rules.” And the second picture had ICC's rule No. 41.16.1 for runouts explained.
