India’s Jemimah Rodrigues is having a great time in The Hundred women’s competition in UK while playing for Northern Superchargers.
After her 43-ball 92* against Welsh Fire, Jemimah slammed a blazing half-century versus Trent Rockets in Nottingham on Monday (July 26).
Thanks to Jemimah’s 41-ball 60, Superchargers posted 149/7 in 100 balls. She added 64 runs for the opening wicket with captain Winfield Hill while her knock was studded with 10 fours.
Chasing the target, the Rockets could only manage 122/7 from their 100 balls, with Katherine Brunt scoring an unbeaten 43 batting at number four.
For her stellar showing with the bat, Jemimah Rodrigues bagged her second successive Player-of-the-Match award in the 100-ball tournament.
With this victory, Northern Superchargers also strengthened their top position in the eight-team points table.
Superchargers will take on Manchester Originals in their next game at Old Trafford on Wednesday (July 28).
