India batter Jemimah Rodrigues who is a part of Northern Superchargers Women's team in the inaugural edition of ECB’s ‘The Hundred’ was praised all across the globe for her fantastic knock of 92 not-out off 43 deliveries against Welsh Fire Women at Headingley in Leeds.
Amid grabbing the headlines, Rodrigues had her ‘fan girl’ moment as the former England skipper and a fantastic right-hand batsman Kevin Pietersen hailed the Mumbai-based batter for her unbeaten knock and said, “Jemimah Rodrigues is now my favourite player,” on Twitter.
