India women's cricketer Harleen Deol left the cricket fraternity in awe with her outstanding catch near the boundary. It was the first T20I between India and England on Friday (July 9), when Harleen showed impressive presence of mind while taking a stunning catch to dismiss Amy Ellen Jones.

Fielding at long-off, Harleen caught the hit by Amy, but the momentum took her over the boundary. She did well to throw the ball in at the right time and finally a dive to complete a clean catch. Harleen's catch made England Women opener Danielle Wyatt applaud her from the dugout.

India cricket great Sachin Tendulkar was also amazed by the incredible grab and he called it the 'catch of the year' in his tweet. "That was a brilliant catch @imharleenDeol . Definitely the catch of the year for me!", he tweeted.

Even Nasser Hussain couldn't stop himself from reacting to the catch. He wrote, "Seriously what a catch !!!! Brilliant from Deol."

India women's cricket veteran Mithali Raj praised Harleen for showing great presence of mind. She also credited fielding coach Abhay Sharma for the fielding drills.

"Witness to this screamer by @imharleenDeol last evening ✊ ???? Great athleticism and presence of mind . Also , credit to the fielding coach @Im_AbhaySharma who ensures we toil hard on the ground with some smart fielding drills," she tweeted.

Despite the fall of wickets in the last few overs, England women found themselves in a comfortable position with 178/7 on the board in 20 overs. They ended up winning the match by 18 runs (D/L) after India scored only 54/3 in 8.4 overs before rain stopped the play.
