India women's cricketers have started their preparations for the England tour, which is scheduled for next month. The players are currently quarantined in Mumbai before leaving for the tour where they will have to undergo quarantine once again.
The official Twitter account of BCCI Women's posted a video clip featuring the cricketers hitting the gym. “Shut the noise! We are India,” the caption read with the hashtag '#TogetherWeWin'.
The likes of Harmanpreet Kaur, Mithali Raj, Jhulan Goswami, Shafali Verma, Ekta Bisht, Harleen Deol, Poonam Yadav, Radha Yadav, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and others can be seen in the video shared by BCCI.
India women's team is set to face England in a one-off Test, three ODIs, and three T20Is. The tour will begin with the four-day Test match starting on June 16.
India will play under the newly appointed head coach Ramesh Powar, who has replaced WV Raman earlier this month. Powar has coached the women's team previously.
