India men's spinner R Ashwin got praised by England women's cricketer Alex Hartley for his tweet on the ongoing T20I series between India and South Africa's women team.
It was the second T20I on Sunday (March 21) when Ashwin took to Twitter and posted a tweet for South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt. She was assaulting the Indian bowlers and scored 39-ball 53* with the help of 7 fours.
Ashwin was impressed with Wolvaardt's batting as South Africa won the match by 6 wickets and they took an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series.

"What is the procedure to get Laura out now? Can u send a soft signal to her? #INDvSA", he tweeted.
Hartley saw Ashwin's tweet and lauded his post on women's cricket. "This... this is what we like to see. This is what matters, this is everything. A genuine interest in the women’s game!! Brave @aswhinravi99. Others will follow."
Batting first, India scored 158/4 but they failed to defend the target even though the match went to the last ball. South Africa needed 6 runs off the last two deliveries but a no-ball at wrong time cost them the match. The third and final T20I will take place on March 23 in Lucknow.
