India women's cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues posted a hilarious singing video of her teammate Shafali Verma on her birthday. Shafali turned 17 on Thursday (January 28).
Sharing a video of the birthday girl, Jemimah tagged Indian Idol, a famous singing competition show, and wrote that she should be the winner. Shafali is singing 'Samjhawan' song from the Bollywood movie 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' in the clip.
"@indianidol2021 I guess we have a winner here ????", the caption read. The video was captured in the India women's team dressing room during the women's T20 World Cup last year in Australia.

Apart from the video, Jemimah also shared a couple of pictures with Shafali. In one of the pictures, the 17-year-old is carrying Jemimah in her arms on a beach.
Shafali made her debut for India in T20I in 2019. Being just 15 during the debut, she became the youngest cricketer to play in a Women's T20I match for India. She has played 19 T20I matches for India and her strike-rate is 146.24 which perfectly reflects her attacking batting style.
