WT20 Challenge 2020: Sophie Ecclestone shines with the ball in Trailblazers’ 9-wicket win over Velocity

Trailblazers bowled out Velocity for a mere 47 in 15.1 overs.

Sophie Ecclestone was awarded Player-of-the-Match | IPL/BCCIVelocity faced Trailblazers in the second match of Women’s T20 Challenge 2020 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Thursday (November 5).

Opting to bat first, the Mithali Raj-led Velocity got bowled out for a mere 47 in 15.1 overs. Sophie Ecclestone did a remarkable job with the ball for Trailblazers, claiming 4 wickets by conceding 9 runs in her 3.1 overs.

Jhulan Goswami and Rajeshwari Gayakwad were also exceptional with the ball as both of them picked up two wickets each.

In reply, Trailblazers overhauled the target in just 7.5 overs with 9 wickets in hand. Deandra Dottin was the top-scorer with 28-ball 29*.
