West Indies bowler Sheldon Cottrell's salute remained famous throughout the year 2019. His unique wicket celebration kept him favorite of young kids, even in India. There were videos of kids trying to copy 'Sheldon Salute' and the man himself appreciated them on social media.
Cottrell's salute was seen once again, this time by West Indies U-19 bowler Matthew Forde in an ICC U19 World Cup match against Australia U-19.

Forde dismissed Australia's Corey Kelly in 32nd over of the match. The Caribbean bowler's celebration grabbed attention and the official Twitter account of the Cricket World Cup posted a comparison between him and his senior.
West Indies U-19 won the contest by 3 wickets. Forde, who bagged 3 wickets with the ball, played a big role with the bat as well. His team was 5 down on 92, that's when Nyeem Young and he added 78 runs to bring West Indies back in the game.
They were chasing just 180 runs but Tanveer Sangha's terrific spell had turned the tables initially. Sangha returned with a figure of 4/30.
