Thailand women's cricket team brings a gift for their opponents in the ongoing ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia. They were surprised by the England women's team when captain Heather Knight told them that they had a gift for the Thai team.

Thailand's skipper Sornnarin Tippoch acknowledged the gift before the start of the match. Both the captains were engaged in a conversation and the official Twitter account of the T20 World Cup shared the video.

The overwhelming conversation and display of sportsmanship were lauded by the fans on social media.

In their first match against West Indies, the Thailand team had bowed to all corners of the WACA Ground in Perth. They thanked their fans and everyone else involved as per the tradition.

"We are happy, I think we played well," said Tippoch. "We wanted to score around 120 runs. We will try to get more than 100. Our strength is as a bowling and fielding side. We will try our best every day. We enjoyed it too much! We were waiting for this for a long time. I’m so happy. I'm proud of our team. We will get better."

They have struggled a lot to reach this stage. Not to forget, Thailand beat Ireland, Netherlands and Papua New Guinea to qualify for the World Cup. They have won a record of 17 consecutive T20 matches.
