India’s outgoing head coach Rahul Dravid, who is known for his calm and composed demeanour, couldn’t control his emotions after Rohit Sharma’s men defeated South Africa by seven runs in a tense final to clinch the T20 World Cup 2024 title.

The atmosphere at the Kensington Oval in Barbados showed the importance of this victory for the Indian players and the coaching staff, combining celebration and raw emotion.

Dravid's expressive reaction came after the trophy presentation ceremony. While Rohit Sharma danced his way to collect the trophy on the podium, Virat Kohli made sure he invited Dravid who was not in the frame to join the celebration.

After Kohli handed Dravid the trophy, the India coach unleashed his wild side in a never-seen-before celebration.

With this triumph, Team India ended their 11-year-long ICC trophy drought. The final against South Africa also marked the end of Rahul Dravid's tenure as the head coach of the Indian team.

Under his guidance, India also won the 2023 Asia Cup title while they lost to Australia in the WTC final and ODI World Cup final last year.
