The United States of America cricket team made history when they defeated Canada and Pakistan in their Group A encounters of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 and qualified for the Super 8s stage of the competition.

And now, they have been grouped with South Africa, Australia, West Indies, and England in the Super 8s stage. They will play their first match against South Africa on Wednesday at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.

Ahead of this exciting clash, the White House has sent a special message to the US cricket team ahead of their encounter with the Proteas in the Super 8s.

The USA, making their debut in the ICC T20 World Cup tournament, began their campaign impressively by defeating Canada by 7 wickets in Texas and then made history by defeating Pakistan in Super Over at the same venue.

Alongside India, who topped Group A with 7 points from 4 matches, the USA secured their place in the Super 8s by finishing second in the group with 5 points from 4 matches.
