Haris Rauf has stayed back in the USA while the majority of the Pakistan team has flown back home after they failed to qualify for the Super 8s of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024.

Pakistan finished their tournament on a high by defeating Ireland in their final group match in Florida, but as per reports, Babar Azam, Azam Khan, Haris Rauf, and a few others have stayed back in the USA and some might travel to the UK for the vacations with their families.

Meanwhile, in a viral video, Haris Rauf is seen attacking a Pakistani fan, who said something to the cricketer, who was out strolling with his wife.

In the video captured by a passerby, Rauf seems to have been triggered by something the fan had said after being denied a photo. Rauf loses his cool and tries to confront the fan, who can be later seen trying to clarify that he only wanted a photo to be clicked.

However, even after being held back by a couple of men, Rauf tries to break free and continues to shower down expletives at the fan. Rauf can be heard saying, “How can you abuse my father,” (gaali baap ko de raha hai) before proceeding to say, “Indian hi hai yeh’ (He is surely Indian).”

The fan clarifies that he is a Pakistani, but an enraged Haris Rauf can be seen seething and saying: “Pakistan se hai, fir bhi yeh teri haalat hai (this is your situation despite being from Pakistan)”?

Even as Rauf is being hauled away from the scene by his wife and others, he continues to shout at the fan in full public view.
