Team India has reached the Caribbean Island of Barbados where they will play their Super 8s stage games from June 20 onwards.  India has been joined by Afghanistan, Australia, and Bangladesh in their Super 8s group.

Apart from Barbados, India will also play their Super 8s matches in Antigua and St. Lucia as well.

India moved to the Super Eights stage of the T20 World Cup undefeated, defeating Ireland, Pakistan, and the United States. On Saturday, Team India's final group match against Canada was abandoned due to a damp outfield at Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida. No ball was bowled.

The Indian team will hit the nets in Barbados on June 17 to prepare for their game against Afghanistan.

Ahead of their game against the Afghans, the Indian squad took a break at the beach and they were seen indulging in a game of volleyball on a beach at Barbados. Players like Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, and Arshdeep Singh were seen enjoying themselves under the sun.
