Virat Kohli's awful form in the T20 World Cup 2024 continued as he earned a first-ball duck in the ongoing India v USA match at the Nassau County Cricket Ground in New York on June 12.

India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Steven Taylor (24) and Nitish Kumar (27) were the top scorers for the USA as they made 110/8 in 20 overs. For India, Arshdeep Singh took 4/9, and Hardik Pandya took two wickets.

Much was expected from India's star batter Virat Kohli, as the leading run-getter in T20 World Cups was yet to go past the double-figures. However, Saurabh Netravalkar, a former India U19 player, had something up his sleeve.

He got Virat Kohli out caught behind for a first-ball duck. This was Kohli’s first duck in the ICC T20 World Cups.
