David Warner, the veteran Australia opener, was given a disgusting send-off by Oman bowler in their recent T20 World Cup 2024 match in Barbados.

Australia made 164 for 5 batting first, thanks to a half-century by Warner and 36-ball 67 by allrounder Marcus Stoinis, who then took three wickets for 19 runs to lead Australia's victory.

Mitchell Starc (2 for 20), Nathan Ellis (2 for 28), and Adam Zampa (2 for 24) took two wickets apiece as Oman could only score 125 for 9 in response.

Warner scored 56 in 51 balls and the process went past Aaron Finch to become the highest T20I run-getter for Australia. Warner currently has 3155 in 104 T20Is. Finch finished with 3120 runs in 103 T20Is.

Warner’s knock came to an end when Oman’s Kaleemullah got the Australian to play a false shot and he was caught at third man. The wicket was really important to the Oman pacer, who celebrated it aggressively. As Warner turned his back to walk to the changing room, Kaleemullah let out a shout and kicked his leg towards him.
