Veteran Australia cricketer David Warner committed a folly during his team’s T20 World Cup 2024 match against Oman. Australia comfortably won the encounter to open their account in the tournament at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.

Australia made 164 for 5 batting first, thanks to a half-century by Warner and 36-ball 67 by allrounder Marcus Stoinis, who then took three wickets for 19 runs to lead Australia's victory.
Mitchell Starc (2 for 20), Nathan Ellis (2 for 28) and Adam Zampa (2 for 24) took two wickets apiece as Oman could only score 125 for 9 in response.

Meanwhile, after Warner got out, he started climbing the steps of the Oman dressing room before being notified by the staff. He then put up his hand in apology and then walked towards the Australian dressing room.
