India’s legendary batter Virat Kohli was finally spotted at the Mumbai airport as he departed for New York for the T20 World Cup 2024.
Kohli's experience and form are critical to India's campaign as they look to recapture the T20 World Cup title after winning the inaugural edition in 2007.
Fans and cricket commentators alike are excited about his performance on American soil, where he is expected to play a key role in India's quest for triumph in the renowned competition, which begins on June 1. The rest of the Indian contingent has assembled in New York and began training.
However, it is unclear whether Kohli will be able to play in the single warm-up game against Bangladesh on Saturday after his lengthy flight.
He was spotted at the airport wearing comfy clothes and gave an autograph to a young fan as well.
