England on Thursday (November 10) qualified for the T20 World Cup 2022 final with a crushing 10-wicket victory over India in the second semi-final at the Adelaide Oval.
Asked to bat first, the Men in Blue posted 168/6 in their 20 overs on the back of half-centuries from Hardik Pandya (63 off 33 balls) and Virat Kohli (50 off 40 balls).
Adil Rashid was the stand-out bowler for England, claiming one wicket by conceding only 20 runs in his four overs.
In reply, England chased down the total without breaking a sweat in 16 overs with 10 wickets in hand. While Alex Hales stayed unbeaten on 86 off 47 balls (4 fours and 7 sixes), skipper Jos Buttler finished with 80 not out off 49 balls (9 fours and 3 sixes).
With this victory, England set up a clash with Pakistan in the final at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday (November 13).
