Pakistan and New Zealand are currently facing each other in the first semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at the iconic Sydney Cricket Ground.
Opting to bat first, the Kiwis got off to a terrible start as they lost their three wickets for just 49 runs in eight overs. While Pakistani bowlers were firing on all cylinders, fielders were ably supporting them.
One great piece of fielding was witnessed in the sixth over of New Zealand’s innings when Shadab Khan got rid of Devon Conway with a stunning direct-hit.
Conway pushed a delivery from Haris Rauf to mid-off and rushed for a quick single. Shadab collected the ball neatly and scored a direct-hit at the bowler's end as Conway was found short of his ground.
