Indian star batter Suryakumar Yadav is in great form with the bat in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, where he has already smashed three fifties to take the Men in Blue to the semi-finals.
His latest half-century came in Team India’s final Super 12 clash against Zimbabwe on Sunday (November 6). The star batter played a quick-fire knock of 61* runs off just 25 balls with the help of six fours and four sixes to help India post 186/5 on the board against Zimbabwe.
Well, the target was a big one for the Zimbabwe team, and they bowled out for just 115 runs, as the Men in Blue recorded a comfortable 71-run win to finish off their Super 12 campaign on a high. Suryakumar has so far scored 225 runs in five matches at T20 World Cup 2022.
Now, the Indian team will face England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2022 on November 10 at Adelaide.
Meanwhile, Suryakumar is being referred to as "Mr. 360" for his hitting ability around the park and is being compared with the South African legend AB de Villiers.
Notably, the "Mr. 360" tag was used for a very long time for AB de Villiers, and now this tag is given to the Indian star by fans and cricket pundits.
Recently, Suryakumar opened up about his comparison with De Villiers for his 360-degree batting while speaking to Star Sports in Hindi, and later he ended up receiving applause from the Proteas great.
Suryakumar told Star Sports: “There is only one 360-degree player in the world, and I will try to play like him.”
To which, De Villiers responded with a tweet while praising Suryakumar: “You're very quickly getting there dude, and even more! Well played today.”
