T20 World Cup 2022: WATCH- Virat Kohli’s Chinese fan speaks fluent Hindi; visits Adelaide to see him bat

Virat Kohli is a modern-era legend, and he has a huge fan following across the globe, whether it be in a cricket playing nation or not. The dashing cricketer is currently playing in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia, where a Chinese fan grabbed the spotlight for his admiration for India and Kohli.

Actually, Team India is currently taking on Bangladesh in their second last Super 12 match at the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022 on Wednesday (November 2) at the Adelaide Oval, where a huge number of fans gathered with bands and Indian flags on their hands outside the stadium.

In the crowd, a Chinese fan managed to catch the attention of many, as he could fluently speak Hindi and is a big fan of the Indian cricket team and Kohli.

The fan said that he is a language student at Adelaide University and learned Hindi on his own, owing to his love for Indian culture.

In a video shared by the Indian Express on Twitter, the Chinese fan can be heard saying that he really loves India and Indian culture when he was asked where he learned Hindi.

He further said that he is from China, and he is supporting the Indian cricket team while naming Kohli as his favourite cricketer.

Notably, Kohli didn’t disappoint his fans, as the right-hander smashed an unbeaten 64 to help the Indian team to post 184/6 on the board against Bangladesh in the Super 12 match at Adelaide.
