Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi appears to be in no mood to make some scathing remarks about India, despite the fact that the Men in Green are almost out of the semi-final race in the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022, owing primarily to Team India's five-wicket loss to South Africa.

Afridi had recently roasted Amit Mishra for taunting Babar Azam for his struggle following India’s loss to South Africa in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022. The legendary all-rounder has yet again launched a scathing attack on the Indian team over their overseas performance.

Actually, the former Pakistan captain was asked if India, along with New Zealand and England, should be considered among the strongest teams in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022, to which Afridi responded by saying that the Men in Blue India have never recorded big wins away from home. He was predicting India's future in the tournament.

Speaking to Samaa TV, Shahid Afridi said: “India jis tarah upar jaa rahi hai, ahista ahista, yeh kuch bhi kar sakti hai. Mere khayal main as such India se bahar nikal kar koi as such bohot achhi koi record ya performances nehi hai. Bare matches main jis tarah se upr jaate rahenge, let's see, abhi baaki hai, but agar unlogo ki bowling aur batting ki baat ki jaye then no doubt achhi team hai, balanced team hai

(The way India is progressing in the competition anything can happen. It's not that they have a very good record or performances outside India. Let's see, but they do have a balanced team.).”

Notably, India and Pakistan both are set to play their must-win games against Bangladesh and South Africa respectively on November 2 and 3 to keep their T20 World Cup 2022 semi-finals hopes alive.
