Yuzvendra Chahal was yet again benched, as Team India retained Akshar Patel and R Ashwin for their second match at the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2022 against the Netherlands in Sydney on Thursday (October 27). Despite not featuring in India’s XI, Chahal managed to steal the spotlight at the SCG.

Notably, Ashwin and Akshar each snared two wickets to help India beat the Netherlands by 56 runs to extend their winning streak in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2022.

While Chahal didn’t get a chance in both Super 12 matches against Pakistan and the Netherlands, the star leg-spinner still managed to grab the attention of the netizens, thanks to his antics on the boundary rope.

Chahal's pictures went viral on social media, as the spinner was seen sitting in his iconic style in deep concern near the boundary line while the second innings was going on at the SCG, as he was carrying water for the team on Thursday.

He was seen beyond the boundary line while resting in the pose that has become rather iconic on social media, and fans didn’t take much time to capture the moment and share it on Twitter, where the fans have been coming up with different opinions on his serious pose.

These scenes were from the Netherlands’ chase against India, when Chahal was seen deep in thought, while Arshdeep Singh, on the other hand, was bowling the seventh over of the match on Thursday, which was eventually won by the Men in Blue by 56 runs at the SCG.
