Virat Kohli hammered 82* with 6 fours and 4 sixes to his name and also added 113 runs with Hardik Pandya (40), as India chased down the 160-run target on the last ball of the match after a highly intriguing last over.
As Mohammad Nawaz crumbled under pressure against Virat Kohli, and India registered a huge confidence-boosting 4-wicket win over Pakistan, Indian fans erupted in jubilation, and videos on social media also showed various former India cricketers Irfan Pathan, Sunil Gavaskar and Kris Srikkanth celebrating on the sidelines in MCG.
On Tuesday, Star Sports shared a video of the final two overs, which showed Sanjay Bangar, Aakash Chopra, and Gautam Gambhir in the studio as the match reached its crescendo.
In the video shared by Star Sports, Aakash Chopra is seen standing and doing the majority of the commentary in that final over while Sanjay Bangar joined it for a few seconds. But it was Gambhir's act that left fans stunned. He barely managed to show any interest in the proceedings and was seen rubbing his eyes as well.
