Pakistan team is preparing well for their upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 tournament opener against India on October 23rd. They are coming off a loss against England in the first warmup match, while their second warmup match got rained out though Afghanistan got a chance to bat.
In a video shared by Pakistan Cricket on social media, mentor Matthew Hayden gave a throwing challenge to fast bowlers Mohammad Wasim Jr. and Naseem Shah at the Gabba in Brisbane.
Before the game against Afghanistan in Brisbane, players and coaches were on the ground, and Hayden suddenly challenged Wasim Jr to give him a hundred dollars if he threw the ball on the top tier of the stadium.

The 50-year-old also wanted Naseem Shah to participate in it, but Naseem Shah said no, coach, I am on your side. Naseem then challenged Wasim Jr to do it. Shah told him that he will not be able to do it, but the right-arm pacer felt confident and said he could throw the ball on top of the roof out of the stadium.
Hayden listened to their convo and said that if Wasim Jr managed to throw the ball outside the stadium, he’ll give Naseem and Wasim a hundred dollars each. This incident was witnessed by batting coach Mohammad Yousuf and bowling coach Shaun Tait as well.
Wasim Jr tried his best to throw the ball over the Gabba roof, but failed to do so and said it was a try ball, and he wanted another chance. Wasim will now give 100 dollars each to Naseem and Hayden.
