Suryakumar Yadav put on a show with the bat in India’s T20 World Cup 2022 warm-up fixture against Australia at the Gabba, Brisbane on Monday (October 17).
Batting at No. 4, Yadav slammed 55 off 33 balls. As usual, his innings included a number of unorthodox strokes in different parts of the ground.
While Suryakumar’s knock was laced with 6 fours and 1 six, his three dazzling shots left everyone stunned.

The first one was a reverse sweep off Glenn Maxwell for a boundary in the 12th over, the second shot was played over short fine leg for a two-bounce four against Marcus Stoinis in 16th over whereas the last one was a stunning six over long-on off Pat Cummins in 18th over.

Coming to the match, the Men in Blue posted 186/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Apart from Suryakumar Yadav, KL Rahul smashed a fine half-century (57 off 33 balls) for India.
For Australia, Kane Richardson returned with four wickets by conceding 30 runs in his four overs.
