India batter Virat Kohli is known for his intensity on the field, be it in the field or in the nets when he bats. He plans everything to detail even in the nets and being a batter, loves to spend as much time as possible honing his skills and trying out different things.
With the T20 World Cup 2022 just a few days away, Virat Kohli who regained his top form after a long period of lull, is doing everything in his power to ensure India wins the trophy for a second time.
India landed in Australia to prepare for the ICC event some time back and has played two practice matches against Western Australia, but Kohli didn’t play in any of those matches. He is expected to be seen in action when India takes on Australia in the first warm-up match on October 17 in Brisbane.
Therefore, he was seen honing his skills at a batting practice session of Team India at the WACA Stadium. Kohli was in no mood to leave the net session early as he made use of the extra few minutes that was on offer before the next batter took guard at the nets.

In a video doing rounds on social media, a member of the Indian team coaching staff can be heard telling Virat Kohli that his time at the nets was over. However, Kohli can be heard saying that he wanted to bat for a few minutes more until the next man Deepak Hooda, arrived and took his guard.
"Hooda ayega, toh mein chala jaunga (When Hooda comes, I will leave)," Kohli can be heard telling the support staff member.
After facing Australia on October 17, India will take on New Zealand on October 19 in their second warmup match, also in Brisbane.
India’s first match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be against Pakistan on October 23rd at the iconic MCG ground.
