The T20 World Cup 2021 ended with Australia defeating New Zealand in the final in Dubai International Cricket Stadium to complete their white-ball ICC trophy cabinet. The 5-time ICC 50-over World Cup winners and two-time ICC Champions Trophy winners were lacking only the T20 World Cup trophy.
Well, they finally won the tournament with a telling performance as they chased down 172 runs with 7 balls and 8 wickets to spare to hand New Zealand another heartbreaking loss in a white-ball ICC event final.
The tournament proved to be a major success, as the on-field action provided the fans both in the stadium and those watching at home with plenty of entertainment. The cricketers also had exceptional performances and today, TEAM COC presents the Team of the T20 World Cup 2021 tournament comprising of the eleven topmost performers who made the tournament exciting.
David Warner of Australia was named the Player of the Tournament and was the second-highest run-getter with 289 runs to his name with 3 half-centuries. To partner him at the top, will be Pakistan’s mercurial Mohammad Rizwan who was one of the cornerstones of Men in Green’s success in league stages.

He led Pakistan from the front as they qualified for the semi-finals undefeated in the league stages, beating the likes of India, Afghanistan, and eventual finalists New Zealand in the process.
