Coming to the final between Australia and New Zealand. The Black Caps on account of skipper’s Kane Williamson 85-run knock posted a total of 172 runs on the board.

Chasing the target, though Australia lost skipper Aaron Finch early, a 92-run partnership between Mitchell Marsh and David Warner took the game away from New Zealand as they chased the target with 7 balls to spare and lift their maiden T20 World Cup.
