T20 World Cup 2021: ICC names match officials for the final; Erasmus, Kettleborough to be on-field umpires

The final of the T20 World Cup 2021 will take place between Australia and New Zealand on 14th November.

International Cricket Council (ICC) has named umpires for the final of the T20 World Cup 2021, to be played on Sunday (14th November) in Dubai. 

The final of the T20 World Cup 2021 will see Australia clashing with New Zealand. Both the teams performed sensationally in the semi-finals and clinched victory from the jaws of defeat to see themselves in the summit clash.

While both the teams are preparing for the match, ICC has named match officials for the final. South Africa’s Marais Erasmus and England's Richard Kettleborough have been appointed as the on-field umpires for the summit clash of the tournament.

India’s Nitin Menon will act as a TV umpire while Sri Lanka’s Kumar Dharmasena will be the fourth umpire. Apart from these, Ranjan Madugalle will be the match referee. 

ICC released the official statement, confirming the same. 

"Umpires Marais Erasmus and Richard Kettleborough will assume on-field duties in the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 to be played between Australia and New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday," ICC released an official statement.

Match Referee: Ranjan Madugalle

Tv umpire: Nitin Menon 

Fourth Umpire: Kumar Dharmasena 

On-field umpires: Marais Erasmus and Richard Kettleborough
