T20 World Cup 2021: WATCH – Warner smashes Hafeez for a huge six after ball bounces twice

The incident happened in the 8th over of Australia's innings.

Warner's six off Hafeez | TwitterCricket fraternity witnessed a bizarre incident during the second T20 World Cup 2021 semi-final between Pakistan and Australia in Dubai on Thursday (November 11).

It was the 8th over of Australia’s innings when Mohammad Hafeez lost control of the ball and it bounced twice before reaching Warner, who got underneath the low bounce and smashed it over deep mid-wicket for a huge six.

As the ball bounced twice, umpire Richard Kettleborough signalled it a no-ball and Hafeez had to bowl the delivery again.

Australia are chasing the target of 177 in the all-important semi-final. Earlier, Pakistan rode on Mohammad Rizwan’s 52-ball 67 and Fakhar Zaman’s 32-ball 55* to post 176/4 in their allotted 20 overs.

For Australia, leg-spinner Adam Zampa starred with the ball, claiming one wicket by conceding 22 runs in his four overs.
