T20 World Cup 2021: Bharat Army gives savage reply to Barmy Army’s “Kohli’s gone” taunt after England's exit

England lost the 1st semifinal to New Zealand in Abu Dhabi and got knocked out of T20 WC | GettyThe infamous England fan group Barmy Army was not shy of taking a dig at Indian fans after the Men in Blue were knocked out of the semifinals’ race in the T20 World Cup 2021 after they failed to recover after losing their first two matches to Pakistan and New Zealand.

Though India defeated Afghanistan, Scotland, and Namibia in their last three matches, the losses in the first two matches, especially to New Zealand came back to haunt them, after the Kiwis beat Afghanistan in their league stage to join Pakistan in the knockouts.

Following the exit, Barmy Army took to Twitter to share a meme of the Indian skipper with "Kohli's Gone" written on top.

However, England couldn’t manage to go past Kane Williamson and his men as well, as they suffered a 5-wicket loss, ending their dreams of winning the T20 World Cup for the second time.

Replying to the Barmy Army’s dig at India’s exit from the tournament, Indian fan group, the Bharat Army came back with a just reply which read, “England's Gone” written on top. 

England had come into the T20 World Cup 2021 as favorites and went into the semis with only one loss in Super 12s stage. But Daryl Mitchell’s 72* and Jimmy Neesham’s blitzkrieg of 11-ball 27, helped New Zealand to the target of 167.  

New Zealand will now face the winner of the Australia- Pakistan semifinal match in the final of the tournament in Dubai on November 14.
