Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif urged fans to continue their huge support to the Men in Blue despite they were knocked out of the semi-finals' race of the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

Kaif urged the fans not to decrease their backing to the team as they needed it more ahead of Team India’s last match against Namibia in Dubai on Monday (November 8).

New Zealand made it to the semi-finals alongside Pakistan from Group 2 after thrashing Afghanistan by 8 wickets in their last group match of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup 2021 on Sunday, November 7.

The Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team’s early exit from the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 has certainly left the fans disappointed, but ahead of their final game in the tournament against Namibia, Kaif urged the fans to keep supporting the Men in Blue in Dubai on Monday.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, the former batter said that the Indian team needs their fans’ support now like never before while reminding them of India’s historic wins at Gabba and Lord's.

Kaif tweeted, “True fans don't ditch their team after two bad games. If you have celebrated the wins at Gabba and Lord's, be around for them at Dubai today. The team needs you now like never before. Switch on the telly and believe in them. I will surely do, see you there.”

India’s first two massive defeats against Pakistan and New Zealand cost them a semi-final spot in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021.
