T20 World Cup 2021: WATCH - Pakistan invites Scotland players for Haris Rauf's birthday celebration

Pakistan defeated Scotland by 72 runs in their last Super 12 match on Sunday (November 7).

Pakistan's fast bowler Haris Rauf turned 28 on Sunday (November 7) and the whole Pakistan team celebrated his birthday after their win over Scotland by 72 runs in the T20 World Cup 2021. They also invited the Scotland cricket team for the celebration in their dressing room.

The official account of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) shared a heart-warming video for the fans on Twitter. Rauf can be seen cutting the cake and feeding the first two pieces to the Scottish players.

Sharing the video, PCB wrote, "Pakistan team celebrate birthday of @HarisRauf14 with @CricketScotland !". The players from both teams can also be seen having a chat in the dressing room.

Pakistan are through to the semi-finals after winning all their Super 12 matches in Group 2. They defeated India by 10 wickets to start their campaign and then secured a victory over New Zealand, Afghanistan, Namibia, and Scotland.

Earlier, the Pakistan cricket team had visited the Namibian dressing-room after winning the match. The Pakistan players including Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez, and Shadab Khan had applauded the effort by Namibia. 

The Babar Azam-led side will face Australia in the semi-finals at Dubai International Stadium on Thursday (November 11).
